About the Class of 1967
Most of the seniors at Bolivar in 1967 attended grade school in the system at South Ward, North Ward or Mitchell elementary schools. Many lifetime relationships have been made by the students following those school years together.

Members of the 1967 graduating class made up the bulk of the football, basketball, baseball and track sports teams. One outstanding athlete, Robert Esther, was the first Bolivar High student to letter in all four sports. Here's how the varsity teams finished at the conclusion of 1967:
  • Football: 7 - 2 (Tri-Champions in the Skyline Conference)
  • Basketball: 12 - 8
  • Baseball: 7 - 3
  • Track: 4 - 0 in regular meets, 1st in the 440 yard relay at Parkview and 2nd place in all events at the Skyline conference meet.

Unfortunately, there were no other sports offerings for guys and no organized sports for girls other than cheerleading at the time. Also, there were only three head coaches for all sports activities.

Organizations included FFA (Future Farmers of America), FHA (Future Homemakers of America), FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), FNC (Future Nurses Club), Latin Club, Spanish Club, Art Club, Drama Club, Royal Rooters, School Band, Stage Band, Marching Band, Boys and Girls' Glee Clubs and the B Club for sports lettermen.
